In the past months I have received some emails concerning my health so I decided to write an email about what has happened.

I have the rare condition called secondary adrenal insufficiency caused by malfunctioning of the pituitary gland. You can do a Google search to find out more about it, but lets make it simple to say that my hormone balance is off.

Hi All ,

Rob has made the decision to pay for 12 months of server costs for the robspaingroup.com website  to leave it up and running as a resource for RST members only , The chat will shut down as planned on Dec 31 .

Please remember that the information contained on the site is strictly for members only and the decision to leave it running is solely to assist all our members with their trading , log in details shall remain the same and video links will be hosted by Rob’s and my servers for you all .

This does not change the situation with Rob and not being able to Trade anymore , but it reflects Rob’s commitment to assist members of this group where he possibly can .

The site will have no support after dec 31 2012 other than content already posted .

I have recieved very sad news from Rob that he has had further complications with his health which has resulted in strong advice from his Doctors to avoid any stress at all and therefore a decision has been made that he can never return to trading again .

Rob has expressed his frustration at not being able to assist us even though we have been working hard to contributing to this great cause via donations and hard work and this has been creating more stress for him as he feels like he needs to give something in return .

I am sure most would agree that Rob has given so much already , but he has made a decision to shut the website down at the end of year .

We have enough donations now to cover costs until then so the donations are now closed for good , and i for one would like to thank all that pulled together to make something of this special opportunity that Rob created but sadly we can not continue and more importantly we must all hope that Rob makes a full recovery as he is a incredibly fit person who has been dealt a big blow with his condition .

I assume a lot of us will want to pass on our thanks for all Rob has done for us and if you wish you can email support@robspaingroup.com and i will put together all messages for Rob to read when he feels upto to doing so .

He finds it hard to go through emails at the moment , so i can work on this for everyone.

Dear Traders and Friends,

I’m writing this email at 03:30 local because I need to have something of my chest before I leave for Holiday. Many of you have noticed and some have complained about all the “noise” in the chat room. There haven’t been set clear rules for the room because I thought it would be self regulating. So its time to set 1 rule now, not written in stone but hope this will lead to more constructive content.

What I often see is :

I consider these posts …to be EGO posts.
Who is benefiting from those posts – What do they say – What can be learned from that ?
NOTHING at all, they are just polluting the stream.

Oh yes you can call out your trades if you want to but why not make it something like this :
IF we come up at 1320 area I am looking to sell it BECAUSE …
I see VAH 1320 on last Micro balance from 6/7 coinciding with the CLVN area and 1320.50 being YHI. Seeing delta still 25k below yesterdays so shorts are still holding inventory.

With such a post you will create interaction between traders, something they hadn’t seen and are curious to find out more about. We want to create a Trading community helping out other traders. At least that is what I want !

For all the braggers we are going to create a Forum …maybe something like “Brags, beats, and variance” So everything you did so well or did so wrong you are able to post soon as the Forum categories will be changed.

We are working hard to make it all better, we are listening to your comments but we need time to achieve it all. A separate room for me alone would make me switch between the lobby and “my room” all the time to read questions. So the jury isn’t out yet how to deal with that request.

Because I wanted all of you to receive this email I used the “all registrars database” overruling the OPT in / OPT out setting . I want you to look at this post again where it shows you how to set notifications of new posts. We don’t want to spam you, but I’m sure many of you haven’t seen that option !

My Screencast pro account has been interrupted for a few days due to the fact my credit card being billed has expired.
